MODEST MOUSE FANS --
The new Modest Mouse album, Good News For People Who
Love Bad News, will be released March 30. It was
produced by Dennis Herring (Camper Van Beethoven, Throwing
Muses), and features the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and a track
remixed by The Flaming Lips/Dave Fridmann.
Look for the very limited Modest Mouse "Float On" 7" (b/w
non-LP track "I've Got It All (Most)") to hit your favorite
record store early February.
Plans are underway to also release a remastered/expanded
edition of The Moon and Antarctica in March -- stay
tuned for further details.

Remastered Moon and Antarctica - hmmmm. I think that remastered albums are just an excuse to get fans to buy two of the album, and I am the kind of person that does things like that. I mean, I own two copies of every Foo Fighters album - original and remastered or repakaged or expanded or whatever... Man... I don't have enough money for this.
